Hi I’m Sunni
they/ them
I believe every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and truly cared for as they step into parenthood. As a birth and postpartum doula, I walk alongside families through pregnancy, labor, and the early days with their baby—offering steady presence, thoughtful guidance, and compassionate care along the way.
Birth is deeply personal, and having the right support can make all the difference.
My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where families feel safe asking questions, trusting their instincts, and so they can feel more at ease and confident along the way.
How I Found My Way to This Work
Community | Advocacy | Love
Long before I knew what a doula was, I knew I loved supporting families.
My love for supporting families began long before I became a doula. As young as four years old, I found joy in being present for the people around me—helping where I could, listening, and caring for others in small but meaningful ways.
Growing up without a strong sense of community made me deeply aware of how important connection and support can be. I’ve always admired the idea of family and found myself curious about the many ways families care for and show up for one another. Whether through the families I watched on television or the people I encountered in my own life, I was always learning from the ways people loved and supported each other.
As I got older, that love for supporting families led me to nannying. I spent many years caring for children and becoming part of the rhythm of family life. While I truly loved that work, I began to feel a pull toward supporting parents as well—connecting with them more deeply and sharing resources and encouragement along the way.
One day, while searching for ways I could support families on a deeper level, I came across the role of a doula. Within minutes of learning what a doula was, something clicked. The work felt familiar, meaningful, and aligned with the way I had always wanted to care for others. Becoming a doula felt like a natural next step.
That same intention continues to guide how I show up for the families I support—rooted, intuitive, and led by you.
My ApproachMy approach to doula care is grounded in presence, trust, and meeting you exactly where you are. From pregnancy through postpartum, I offer steady support, thoughtful guidance, and space for you to feel informed, heard, and deeply cared for.
Supporting families through this transition is work I hold with deep care and respect. My role is to provide a calm, reassuring presence so you can move through birth and early parenthood feeling more confident, supported, and at ease.
A Calm, Grounded PresenceFamilies often describe my presence as calm, warm, and steady. During labor, I focus on creating an environment where you feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
Through comfort measures, emotional reassurance, and continuous support, I help you stay centered and connected to your experience.
Informed, Empowered DecisionsYou deserve clear, respectful information when making decisions about your care.
I help you understand your options, what to expect, and how to navigate different moments throughout labor and birth. I also create space for questions and reflection, so you can make choices that feel right for you.
Support for the Whole FamilyBirth is a shared experience, and I make sure partners feel included, informed, and confident in their role.
I also encourage them to care for themselves—resting, eating, and staying grounded—so they can show up fully while knowing they are supported, too.
Continued Care After BirthMy support continues as you settle into life with your newborn.
I offer gentle newborn care, hands-on support, and guidance while you rest and recover. I also help nurture your home environment—whether that’s preparing meals, tidying shared spaces, or offering resources—so you can focus on healing, bonding, and finding your rhythm together.
My End-GoalTo help you, and your family, feel supported, confident, and cared for as you welcome your baby and step into parenthood.
Doula care should feel steady, intuitive, and centered around you—because your experience, your voice, and your choices matter.
